For many years I’ve hosted with Inventive Hosting after needed a dedicated UK hosting company for some sites I was building at the time.
The deciding factors were, unlimited bandwidth, low annual price, and decent storage size, plus the need for UK hosting servers.

I’ve got to say this, their support has been absolutely amazing !
Nothing has ever been too much, or to small, nor too large, and their response times have been ludicrously fast. An example would be I sent a support request just after 10pm one evening, and went to bed, thinking that it would be the morning before I’d get a reply as it wasn’t urgent.
I had a reply less than an hour later, and that was from the 2nd level support team, who had been alerted to my request by the team on duty at the time, as they couldn’t help.

The completed support request took just over a day to achieve, this was because I’d said there was no rush to me, and I was happy if it had taken a week !

Whereas a lot of companies will charge you for getting your website a SSL certificate (SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer, the https and the little padlock icon)
